Ulaanbaatar → Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve

Drive east: ~135 km (3–4 hrs) Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve is one of Mongolia's best birdwatching destinations, featuring wetlands, rivers, and steppe habitats that attract a wide variety of bird species. Visitors may observe cranes, swans, geese, ducks, raptors, and other migratory birds while enjoying the reserve's beautiful natural scenery. The reserve is also home to the Argali Sheep, the world's largest wild sheep, which can often be seen grazing on the surrounding rocky hillsides....

Gun Galuut → Bogdkhan Mountain

Ugii Lake → Khustai National Park
