Booking policy

Cancellation & refund policy

Mongolia has a relatively short tourism season, with most tours operating between June and September. Due to high demand during this limited period, accommodations, transportation, guides, vehicles and other local services often need to be reserved in advance.

Deposit and balance

To secure a reservation, a 10% deposit of the total tour price is required at the time of booking. The remaining 90% balance is payable shortly before the tour begins or upon arrival in Mongolia, as agreed between the client and Gobi Sky Expedition.

If you cancel

If a tour is cancelled more than 60 days before departure, the deposit will be fully refunded.

If a tour is cancelled within 60 days of departure, the 10% deposit will be retained by Gobi Sky Expedition as a cancellation fee to cover administrative costs and advance arrangements made on behalf of the client.

Cancellation requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
